Airplane mode disables all wireless connections. It’s useful in situations in which wireless connections are restricted, such as on an airplane, or when you wish to conserve battery power.

1. From the home screen, press the Menu Key .
2. Touch Settings > Wireless & networks.
3. Touch Airplane mode to turn it on.
4. When you are ready to resume wireless connections, touch Airplane mode again to turn it off.
