Press the Alt Key and then the Space Key to bring up a list of special characters you can insert. You can also insert special characters by pressing the Caps/Shift Key and the Alt Key and then one of the following letters:

S = ß
C = ç
V = ^
R = €
T = £
G = _
Y = ¡
F = ¥
