You can create keyboard shortcuts, called Quick launch shortcuts, to quickly open apps.

1. From the home screen, press the Menu Key .
2. Touch Settings > Applications > Quick launch.
3. You’ll see a list of letters and the applications assigned to them. Touch one to assign or reassign the letter to a new application.
4. You’ll see a list of apps. Touch one to assign it to the selected letter.

To clear a Quick launch shortcut, touch and hold it. You’ll see a notice stating that your shortcut for the selected letter will be cleared. Touch OK to clear it.

To use a Quick launch shortcut, with the slide open, press and hold the Search Key and, while still holding the Search Key, press the letter key assigned to the shortcut.
